Is 'sustainabilty of creativity' more about how to preserve it at this moment in time than in the environmental sense of sustainability - making sure we do not compromise the future by our actions in the present.

My feeling is it should be both. And in fact, they may be nested. If the future is to exist, we need to to more than merely preserve the present. And also, we might want to nourish the future, not merely ensure there is one...... In this sense creative practice is an investment in the future.
